In 1997, Kees and his son Paul Weel founded PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, originally known as Paul Weel Radiators, to meet the growing demand for high-quality, lightweight aluminum cooling products in the automotive market.
Based in South East Queensland, Australia, PWR operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility equipped with advanced technology, allowing them to lead in cooling research and development. PWR supplies high-performance radiators, intercoolers, and oil coolers to top racing categories, including F1, NASCAR, and WRC. In 2015, PWR expanded by acquiring US-based C&R, now PWR North America, to strengthen its presence in the US market.
Paul Manuell was introduced to Kees and Paul Weel in the early 2000s by friend and fellow race team member Greg Murphy. A long standing relationship was formed on a handshake making EAPC the sole distributor for NZ.
Still today Paul at EAPC advises and designs cooling systems that are manufactured by PWR. In Paul Manuell’s words…..There still is no better radiator!
